CA: British Columbia cranberry harvest nearing completion with good quality

The cranberry harvest season is approximately 60% complete in British Columbia, and the crop looks great says The BC Cranberry Marketing Commission (BCCMC).

“We are on track to see another successful harvest under our belts.” Says Jack Brown, Chairman of the BC Cranberry Marketing Commission. “Yields are consistent with our expectations, and the fruit quality is high.”

95% of BC’s growers are part of the Ocean Spray cooperative. This allows shoppers to support BC farmers by purchasing Ocean Spray products. Other than fresh, BC cranberries can be found in many products from juice to the sweetened dried cranberries – Craisins.
