Tasmanian growers call for inquiry on handling of blueberry rust incursion

Blueberry growers claim there have been inconsistencies with the way Biosecurity Tasmania have handled blueberry rust, and have called for an inquiry.

That call has been backed by the TFGA and the Primary Industry Biosecurity Action Alliance, after the second incursion of blueberry rust into Tasmania.

Peter Skillern CEO of the TFGA and Greg McCulloch the President of Australian Blueberry Growers say management of blueberry rust is not the way forward and are calling for eradication.
