Maurizio Ravaioli from Faenza explained that he has "4 hectares of Angeleno and Fortune plums under nets plus 10 uncovered hectares of nectarines and 3 of plums. I still have to assess the damage, but the situation is serious."
Daniela Neri, also from Faenza, says that "it hailed for a long time. I don't have nets and I think I have lost all my plums."

Consorzio di Difesa di Ravenna is in charge of collecting all reports. Another grower explains that the wind actually caused more damage than the hail in his area.

Giancarlo Minguzzi, President of Fruitimprese Emilia Romagna, confirms the damage in Faenza and Ravenna but adds that there are no great problems towards Alfonsine.
Nadia Nobili from Vignola (Modena) says that "luckily, we were spared despite the fact that the weather forecast said to expect hail."
Apofruit technician Davide Marconi reports that Piangipane and Santerno (Ravenna) were also badly hit by the hailstorm, as stones had a diameter of €2 coins.
