On the evening of 27 June, the Yunhe County News Office, the Bailongshan Street Working Committee, the Bailongshan Street Culture Station, and the village committees of Shaxi and Xinjian, held the 14th Party Congress and the Watermelon Lantern Festival in Shaxi village. They held a series of events, such as singing and banging drums, guessing riddles written on lanterns, and elections for the best watermelon lantern as a fun activity for the villagers. The watermelon lanterns are becoming more and more spectacular. A series of lanterns received praise from the judging panel.
