FRUIT AUDIT, the information and quality verification firm at destination for companies devoted to the production and marketing of fruit and vegetables, held its General Meeting of Partners at the FEPEX headquarters in Madrid, where it confirmed the consolidation and improvement of the services provided in markets of great interest to the Spanish sector, mainly in Europe.
The meeting served to analyse the actions carried out in 2016, highlighting the strengthening of the quality services in destination countries for Spanish exports, such as Germany and Poland.
Over the past year, there has also been a greater volume of work in Spain, since there has been an increase in the number of customers in need of quality verification services in the country, mainly in the wholesale markets and ports.
FRUIT AUDIT provides two types of services to all interested companies in the horticultural sector. On the one hand, it provides a continuous information service, which allows the Spanish firm to know the needs of the customers at destination, thus anticipating the future quality demands. Customers also receive a market report of various products, with the variations recorded in the main distribution chains, supermarkets, discounters and wholesale markets.
On the other hand, it deals with quality verification at destination. It is a post-sale service that includes the assessment of possible damages in case of freight claims, the obtainment of the traceability codes that allow the trading company to locate the possible errors in the production chain, as well as the study of the conditions of the products at destination.
FRUIT AUDIT is owned by FEPEX, the associations Coexphal, Freshuelva and Afrucat, Cajamar, as well as by the entity's own management and is open to all associations and companies interested in its services.
