After years of efforts and the improvement of bilateral trade between the two countries, China opened its door to Californian strawberries in 2016. Thanks to its ideal costal climate and sandy soil, California is considered the best place for the growth of strawberries in the world. Currently, 90% of strawberries in the U.S. come from this state. On 22nd of May this year, the California Strawberry Commission came to Shanghai and hosted the first promotional seminar for California strawberries.
