Is it possible to eat cherries in early spring? Yes, it is, and of an exceptional quality; so much so, that some pay up to 80 Euro per kilo in some gourmet stores.
We are talking about the cherries marketed by the family business Fruit Luxury, based in the municipality of Albalate de Cinca, in the Spanish province of Huesca. The company, managed by Javier de Pablo, exports 95% of its cherries to countries in the southern hemisphere, China, the Arab Emirates and Europe.
It has three brands in the market: Rouge Pearls (super extra), Pearl cherry (standard quality cherry) and a new one that will focus on the domestic market, but only for online sales.
