This week, Grupo Plus Berries has launched the 2nd campaign to promote the beneficial effects of berries among children at the headquarters of Freshuelva.
Daniel Velo, a producer of blackberries, and Roberto Arnal, a producer of blueberries, both responsible for the marketing area, were in charge of outlining the basics of the campaign, which is being organised for the second consecutive year.
Daniel Velo mentioned the company's Social Responsibility policy, with Plus Berries showing a special concern when it comes to health and the search for a healthier world. Conscious of being producers of superfoods with innumerable health benefits, the Plus Berries Group intends to become a communicator of these values, so that the population can be aware of the beneficial effects of their consumption.
As a result of this philosophy, the Plus Berries group has decided to continue with the campaign "Plus Berries, the incredible adventures of the superberries", with the aim of continuing to promote the innumerable beneficial effects of berries among the children of different educational centres of the provinces of Huelva, Seville, Badajoz and Madrid.
A total of 22 educational centres will receive a visit from representatives of the campaign, who will distribute 1,000 kilos of berries and address almost 1,500 children.
The campaign is built around comic book superheroes, creating a universe that helps children understand the health effects of berries. The story takes place in Huelva, where a group of berries, under the influence of the rays of Huelva's sun, acquire superpowers: Dora, the blackberry (supervision), Elsa the raspberry (super jump), Freda the strawberry (super strength) and Nando the blueberry (Super memory). With these new powers, they unite to fight against an evil virus. This way, the children involved are shown the importance of consuming berries in order to stay healthy, in a story where teamwork is highlighted and there is a focus on tolerance and the capacity to give new opportunities.
