British Growers Association announces new team members
James Richardson will head up the organisation’s finance operation, supported by Karen Smith, who takes over as Management Accountant. Coral Russell has joined as Crop Association Executive, and will work with Jayne Dyas on Crop Associations.
British Growers has also taken the opportunity to strengthen its administration team. Alison Frith joined just before Christmas, and will work with Chief Executive, Jack Ward and Operations Director, Lisa Eagles, taking on a broad range of responsibilities.
Peter Crowe, who has extensive experience in the fresh produce industry, has been appointed as communications consultant for British Growers. He will be working with Jack Ward on a part-time basis to ensure that the organisation’s messages are communicated.
Jack Ward says: “I am very confident that with the new look team, we can develop and extend the range of services we can offer, create efficiencies, and provide a highly cost-effective service to our member organisations.”
