China: Lishui Strawberry Festival opens up business opportunities

The 2017 Lishui Strawberry Festival has officially opened. Six agricultural sales projects were signed on site, including for strawberries, blueberries and other local argricultural products. The annual output of Lishui strawberries in Jiangsu province is about 10 thousand tons, some of which are exported to Europe, Australia and other places. At the opening ceremony, the British Starlight company signed a contrat with the Nanjing Zhongliang Organic Vegetable & Fruit Co, to purchase 85 million yuan worth of blackberries, blueberries and strawberries. "Strawberries accounted for about 1/3 of the order and will be exported to Europe and Australia and other countries." said Zang Quan, a director of the Nanjing Zhongliang Organic Vegetable & Fruit Co.
