Agrinurture fruit shake subsidiary plans expansion in China

A fruit shake subsidiary of Agrinurture, The Big Chill, said Wednesday it would boost expansion plans in China, citing improved relations between Beijing and Manila.

"Big Chill will expand its branches as it continues to gain momentum in Hong Kong and China," Agrinurture chairman Antonio Tiu said.

“There’s a lot of franchise inquiries lining up, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to capitalize on bringing the Filipino brand outside of the Philippines,” Tiu told ANC's "Market Edge with Cathy Yang."

"For the past few years our sales were greatly affected by the political situation between Philippines and China and lately the improved bilateral relationship has really improved the financials of the company,” he said.
