Special Fruit announces new packaging for Calinda strawberries
With the new season of Calinda strawberries, Special Fruit has introduced a new packaging.
"Because this new variety has a strong story to tell, we’ve challenged our packaging design partner to come with a new innovative design. The result is a lid that holds a clever display feature in the middle which fits perfectly for communication. This makes storytelling and branding possible in the most attractive way," a company spokesperson stated.
The packaged design allows Calinda to offer a booklet which they believe tells more about the variety and its possible usage in recipes, whilst maintaining the visibility of the strawberry itself to the maximum.
"We believe this packaging will lead consumers directly to the superior flavour and appearance of Calinda and encourage repeat purchases."
The new lid will be used in the 400 gram packaging and will reduce waste by removing the sleeve which was provided in previous packages.
