Miriam Frutta, an Italian strawberry distributor, distributes this variety among its customers with full knowledge that it is one of the most requested. These strawberries are planted in one of the most fertile regions, in Scanzano Jonico, Basilicata.
Candonga strawberries have been grown for three generations, and according to Giuseppe Iacovazzo, manager of Miriam Frutta, it is the variety that has managed to achieve the maximum sweetness and colour in the area.
Both the growers in charge of cultivating this variety, as well as Miriam Frutta, assure that they are able to deliver the product in just a few hours, both to large retailers and to markets. In this way, the strawberries arrive with their organoleptic characteristics intact.
