Chinese Spring Festival doubles Burma watermelon prices

As the Chinese Spring Festival approaches, the demand for Burmese watermelons is increasing, which has led to the price doubling - from 2000 yuan a ton last year, up to 3000 or even 5200 yuan per ton now, and the rise in prices is expected to continue until April. Burmese watermelons are heavily dependent on the Chinese market but the relevant departments are also actively seeking to export to other countries.
