Harvard prepares business case over Camposol's blueberry business

Harvard University has used Camposol, it's position in the Peruvian agro-industrial sector and its large-scale sustainable agricultural model, due to its fast growth in blueberries and other products, as a business case-study. Likewise, it describes its market internationalization and integration processes and invites readers to assess which should be Camposol’s next strategic initiatives.

Jorge Ramírez Rubio, CEO of Camposol Holding, and José Antonio Gómez of Camposol Trading presented on Wednesday, January 11 the business case about Camposol as part of an Agribusiness course that is being given in Boston during week 02/2017. Besides Camposol’s case, several other cases with models from USA, Australia, Switzerland, China and other countries are being studied.

The Agribusiness seminar is organized within the framework of Harvard’s executive education program. For more than 50 years, the well-known American university has organized a series of specific seminars for worldwide agro-industrial business leaders who wish to deepen their knowledge about the best practices in the agro-industrial sector through the recognized Harvard method of case studies in order to develop new strategies for a sustainable future of the agricultural sector and the planet.
