Many people believe that drinking fruit juices bring benefits to the body. But trends show that juicing up is about more than just being healthy. Increasingly, it is becoming a question of being healthy and trendy.

The growing number of consumers who take their time to be aware and informed on what goes into their system has boosted the demand for good, ready-to-drink juices.

In less than a decade, the ready-to-drink segment of the juice market in Malaysia has increased by 13% in sales volume by litres. Brands such as Tropicana Twister have been supplying different variations fruit juices to satisfy this growing thirst for juice.

Market research done in 2011 showed that 47% of those interviewed said drinking juice made them look cool and fashionable while 65% of them said they loved to juice up as it allowed them to share this goodness with their friends.

Another poll showed that Malaysians were choosing their juices based on taste and the quality of the drink.

Tropicana Twister picks the highest quality fruits to be processed into the best standard juices. With real fruit juices, fruit bites and fruit sacs, juices such as Tropicana Twister makes it easy for consumers to pick a bottle of goodness on the run that satisfies their taste buds and lifestyle demands.

Tropicana Twister meets the market demand in many ways. In a market poll conducted by market research company Nielsen last year, the brand supplies all top flavour categories in Malaysia, with orange topping the list with a market demand of 38%, followed by lychee at 19% and apple at 9%.

The brand has been one of the world’s favourites for decades and Malaysia’s top ready-to-juice since it arrived here in 2008.

To celebrate healthy lifestyles, the brand will hold the Tropicana Festival as a thank-you gesture to Malaysians for keeping them as the top fruit juice in Malaysia. The festival will run from today to Sept 26 in all major supermarkets and hypermarkets.
