Export South African grapes fell by 2.5m cartons

The total export of South African grapes for the 2012/13 season was 2.5 million cartons down on the previous year.



As would be expected exports to individual markets were also down. Northern Europe saw around 1 million cartons less but the UK faired better with a reduction of only 151,915 cartons. The Middle East and Russia also saw a drop in volumes.
