This year, the organisers say, will not be an exception. On May 17, the conference attendees will be able to take part in a practical business-tour to Polunica.com.ua project fields intended for open and protected strawberry cultivation with the use of the most up-to-date technologies in Ukraine.
Among the key topics discussed at the event will be:
- Ukrainian berry and cherry forecast for 2013. Production, imports, exports, pricing, trends
- Development of the Ukrainian market for frozen berries and cherries
- Berry processing, handling, storage, quality retention technologies
- Berry trade in Ukrainian supermarket chains
150 participants are expected from between 9 and 11 different countries. Participants will include Ukrainian and Russian growers of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, red and black currants, table grapes, sweet and sour cherries, who will account for more than a half of delegates.
