Due to strong cold fronts currently hitting Honduras, melon and watermelon producers from the southern parts of the country predict low production volumes.
A melon producer from the south expressed his concern about the way the cold winds are damaging the plantations.
"The plantations are suffering a stressful period and the wind will cause many producers to fail meeting this year's production goals," he pointed out.
