China refutes German strawberry food poisoning claims

China has refuted claims that strawberries originating there were responsible for many cases of food poisoning in Germany recently.

Samples of fruit taken in China, from the company alleged to have been involved, failed to find the Noroviruses thought to have been responsible for the illness outbreak, according to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
