Japan luxury fruit store sells mangoes for $230 each

The Sembikiya fruit parlor is located in Tokyo Japan and prides itself on luxury. The whole store is based on the style and presentation of fruit and they only sell produce that meets their high visual standards. Shoppers pay a high price for the luxury however, with mangoes being sold for as much as $230 each.

Other products include Sun Fuji apples at $17 dollars, Dekopon (a type of mandarin orange) at $19, muskmelon at $237 each, and others. The melons come at a high price as, during growth, only one melon remains on the plant so that all of the nutrients can go to one fruit, the store explains.
