This week's import market is in a transitional period from Southern to Northern hemisphere supply. Southern hemisphere oranges are gradually coming to an end, but blueberries, cherries and grapes are being readied for sale. Some small products, like Spanish stone fruits, are coming to China in greater quantities. At the same time, a few Chinese late-ripe varieties, such as Lijiang snow peaches, are appearing on the import market, challenging the middle and high end markets.
