A worker from a citrus warehouse in the Castellon municipality of Nules died on Friday, December 6, at the Hospital La Fe in Valencia, where she was admitted because of a legionella infection.
This has been confirmed to Efe by health sources, who have reported three cases of legionella detected in this warehouse, that of the deceased and those of two other women, both treated and discharged.
According to the sources, the outbreak was first detected at the citrus warehouse, which was closed for 24 hours to hyperchlorinate the water they use and avoid new cases.
