Interstellar Farm is at the cutting edge of agricultural AI-technology. The company already obtained investments worth 50 million yuan [7 million USD]. Interstellar Farm has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Fruit Day, one of the leading companies in new retail methods for fresh fruit. The ceremony took place in City Shop, Beijing.
Interstellar Farm developed an AI-platform entitled the "AI Raspberry Master", which is already employed with success on an industrial scale. The agreement between Interstellar Farm and Fruit Day will further advance the development of agricultural AI-technology in China. This in turn will advance the technological capacity of the Chinese agricultural industry and strengthen its strategic position in the global market. The technological advancements will bring more top-quality fruit to Chinese consumers and provide them with a greater consumer experience.

The Chinese consumption level is rising and the Chinese market demand for top-quality fruit has exploded. Raspberries have high economic and nutritional value, but the raspberry is objectively one of the most difficult products in the fruit industry. Entrepreneurs who undertake raspberry plantation on an industrial scale face one problem after the other. The Interstellar Farm team began to implement AI-technology in the greenhouse production of raspberries in 2017.
