Dole increase organic banana turnover by 15%

Dole, big in the export of Peruvian organic bananas (30% of the total quantity) expect an increase of its share of 15% this year as a result of the improved production quality and an increase in the number of suppliers. This as said by Carlos Espinosa Nieto of the Dale-foundation Peru (Fundacion Dale Peru) during an international forum, as one may read on the German website fruchtportal.de.

Nieto also mentioned that the growth expectations are the result of the success of health programs, negotiations, communal development, protection of the environment and production and educative development. These subjects, as confirmed by Nieto, are part of the requirements of Dole set for the municipalities in which it operates.
