Consalo Family Farms is celebrating its 98th year in business and company officials are excited to attend SEPC's Southern Exposure show March 6-8 in Orlando, Florida to show attendees what has made the operation so successful for nearly a century.
"SEPC is a key show for us," said AJ Consalo, the company's chief operating officer. "We invite our stakeholders to join us at our booth to see our product line-up and the presentation of our brand. That combination of our product quality and our brand identity speaks for itself."
Consalo says the company is heading into its first Moroccan blueberry season.
He said that there will be much to see, from core products to new additions. "We are heading into our first Moroccan blueberry season," Consalo said. "We are excited about the future of this program and the quality of the product. This is mostly a jumbo program with extraordinary size, firm crunch, and great flavor. Further into the season, we look forward to our peachy blue variety that has been in the works for a couple of years now in New Jersey. This will be our first year of sizable harvest and we look forward to the promotion and feedback on this."
The company strives to showcase the longevity of a family business that is always investing in the future. One of its key priorities is to stay a step ahead by exploring new ideas, technology, and equipment. "We hope that visitors to our booth see how, through the evolution of the business, staying true to our core values has allowed us to gain the trust of our customers and others throughout the industry," said Consalo.
Consalo Family Farms grows a full line of conventional and organic produce with core items blueberries, wet vegetables, herbs, cooking greens, salad items, grapes, and citrus.
This blueberry program is mostly a jumbo program with extraordinary size, firm crunch, and great flavor says Consalo.
"Currently driving sales is our organic program, our custom packaging options as well as our private label offerings," Consalo said. "Our commitment to quality goes beyond farm to retail shelf as we provide merchandising support to customers and continue to support marketing programs for retail."
With a solid line of product, generational leadership, and a dedication to providing high-quality fruit and produce, Consalo Family Farms looks forward to the future. "It is definitely bright," he says. "We feel as if you get back out what you put in. With the constant reinvestment back into our operations, facilities, farms, as well as our team, we are building a strong future and a strong name in the industry."
Attendees are invited to see the company at booth #632.
