2022/23 EU monthly orange imports at 48,570 tons in February

2022/23 EU monthly orange imports came in at 48,570 tons for the month of February, some 20,000 tons more than the month before. The majority of these imports came from Egypt (44,441 tons). 3,590 tons came from ‘other sources’, with Morocco coming in a distant third (539 tons).

Monthly small citrus imports amounted to 48,970 tons in total, with Morocco shipping in 18,167 tons, Israel sending over 10,303 tons, Turkey bringing in 13,995 tons and Egypt exporting 6,203 tons.
