Factor, a U.S. ready-to-eat (RTE) meal delivery service, announced the expansion of its brand into Canada beginning this month. Factor was acquired by HelloFresh Group in 2020 and has been on a strong growth trajectory ever since. The launch in Canada marks the next step for Factorʼs long-term plans, following its success in the U.S. Canada has a high adoption rate of direct-to-consumer food delivery services and a growing demand for RTE products.

The launch in Canada marks the next step for Factorʼs long-term plans, following its success in the U.S.
Factor Canada is available in the province of Ontario as of today and will expand into additional provinces in the coming months. Chef-prepared, dietitian-approved Factor meals are cooked from scratch at a newly opened facility in Ontario using fresh, natural ingredients, premium proteins raised without antibiotics and without the use of refined sugar and oils. Customers can choose from more than 10 recipes per week that fit a wide variety of diets including Calorie-Smart, Protein Plus, Keto, Vegan and Vegetarian as well as a range of extras.
Factor has spent a decade perfecting its ready-to-eat supply chain including how it sources ingredients, cooks meals, packages and ships them. Since its acquisition in 2020 by the HelloFresh Group, Factor has paired its product development and production expertise with HelloFreshʼs direct-to-consumer capabilities and technology infrastructure. Over the last two years, HelloFresh has used its resources and global expertise to further expand Factorʼs business across the U.S., gaining market leadership in the process.
