Cold storage holding of grapes in California up slightly Y-O-Y

On September 15 2021, the number of bags of Autumn Royal grapes in Californian cold storages stood at 108,788, which is more than double the number of bags compared to last year at this time.

For Autumn Crisp grapes, the Y-O-Y increase is even greater. Currently, 262,878 bags are in storage, compared to 54,129 bags on September 15, 2020; an increase of 485 percent.

Autumn King grapes -bagged- saw a slight decline, with 213,493 in storage to date against 360,316 last year.
