Vivero Los Viñedos continues to diversify its genetic material by signing strategic commercial alliances with Eurosemillas' Green Motion, an international platform that conducts research to expand and improve avocado clonal varieties and rootstocks.
Eurosemillas and the University of California Riverside (UCR) have been working together for several years in the improvement and development of new avocado varieties and clonal patterns, which have shown optimal potential in the test sites of the University of California Riverside (UCR), in California, a region with similar weather conditions and avocado growth to the ones in Peru.
Green Motion is made up of several important companies worldwide that will have the privilege of testing the four Hass-type avocado varieties and five clonal rootstocks first to see how they adapt and develop in different parts of the world.

The behavior of the avocado varieties and clonal rootstocks will be evaluated in the testing stage in the different soils of Peru. It is worth mentioning that the crops of these clonal rootstocks have a greater uniformity because the rootstocks are clones of elite mother plants.
