International Fruit Genetics, based out of Bakersfield, California, has announced that it is developing a new $ 12 million research and growing campus in McFarland. The plans for the new facility will be announced on Tuesday as part of a groundbreaking ceremony at the new location. IFG is a fruit growing and licensing company known for its cotton candy and Sweet Globe grapes.
