The Minister of Agriculture, Osmar Benitez, stated that the Government of China had notified the Dominican Republic, through its Department of Commerce in Santo Domingo, that it had authorized imports of five Dominican products: mango, avocado, banana, pineapple, and different types of cigars.
Benítez said that fruit producers must contact and reach an agreement with potential importers through the Dominican-China Chamber of Commerce.
