New rail service connecting China and Europe

The international maritime, air and land transport company Kuehne+Nagel has launched a new rail service connecting China and Europe. The route will link China, Russia and Europe with a trip for the import and export of groupage loads with its hub in Duisburg, Germany.

In fact, the trains will depart from the facilities of Wuhan, China, towards Hamburg, Germany, as well as to Malaszewicze and Poznan, both in Poland. Furthermore, the transport company currently has more than 50 collection points in China.

The service will be especially aimed at customers in the automotive, technology and fashion industry, who will be able to import, but will also allow FCL and LCL export shipments from Europe to Asia.

With the new service, the company guarantees improved terminal safety and the use of improved containers, monitored by GPS systems, which offer data on temperature, humidity, pressure, light exposure and location of the shipment.

Moreover, Kuehne+Nagel and SR Technics have announced that they are expanding their partnership in order to offer new logistics services to the customers of SR Technics, a provider of technical services to the aviation industry.
