Consolidated Fruit Packers (CFP) of Kelowna British Columbia, Canada, an integral part of The Star Group of Companies, today announced that it has finalized the acquisition of Graem Nelson Associates Ltd., a long-standing Okanagan Cherry marketer and international distributor. Through this further investment in the Okanagan Valley, CFP will looks to bolster its acreage in cherry production, further strengthening its position in Canadian fruit.
For over 40 years, Nelson has been a fruit grower, packhouse owner, international consultant and cherry exporter. His company's long and successful history of global distribution will complement the growth and direction of CFP and The Star Group of Companies, representatives said in a press release.
