Exports to Russia

China: First cold-chain equipped train from Liaoning to Manzhouli

At 9 o' clock on December 30th of 2016, following the echoing sound of a long flute, an 8-vehicle train filled to capacity, slowly left the industrial park in Liaoning city, carrying a total of 100,000 kilograms of cold apples. Its destination is Manzhouli county in Mongolia. There the apples will be divided over several trains heading for Russia, where they will be sold. This first train equipped with a cold-chain system and filled with exports for Russia is the prologue to a new story of development in Liaoning's distribution sector. It's also a profitable attempt to integrate the city into the national "One Belt One Road" strategy, and to expand the capabilities of the distributions node for Liaoning, Mongolia and Europe. It will do great service to the economic development and create new opportunities for the distribution of local agricultural products.
