On November 23, Jingdong intruduced a new brand called the 'Jingdong Logistics' and announced that Jingdong Logistics will be completely opened up towards society with branding as its method of operation. It can provide custom-made logistical services to third party shops in society. This means that Jingdong Logistics is opening up the express service in China in an accommodating, communicative and luxuriant way.
The vice-chairman of Jingdong group, responsible for the shopping centre operations system, Mr. Wang Zhenhui, finishes with the following: "Jingdong Logistics will provide both online and offline services. It will have several platforms, be active in all channels, the whole life cycle and the whole supply chain. It will provide a logistic service that incorporates and unifies all these services".
