Spain: Kiwi Atlántico visits Cuba in business mission
The manager of Kiwi Atlántico, José Carlos Vila, representing the Agro-food cluster of Galicia (CLUSAGA), visited Cuba to hold several meetings with Cuban companies in the wholesale, retail food purchasing and investment sectors in the Caribbean country.
Furthermore, representing CLUSAGA (as board member), Vila accompanied the general director of the Galician Institute of Economic Promotion (IGAPE) at a meeting with the Cuban Vice Minister of Agriculture. For Vila, the meeting was "very interesting. During the meeting, we presented the cluster as a representative for different companies willing to sell, buy and invest in Cuba in the coming years," he pointed out.
To close the meetings, the manager of Kiwi Atlántico, the Regional Councillor of Industry of the Government of Galicia and the Director General of IGAPE paid a visit to the Cuban Ministry of Agrarian Industries.
"The export markets must be taken into account, as diversification is necessary," stated José Carlos Vila.
