Fresh Business Expo Ukraine is the country's only trade
event exclusively targeting the complete fresh produce
chain. The event will take place from 29 November –
1 December 2016 in Kiev and will host a collective
participation organised by “AGF Promotie” from the Netherlands.
In 2015 the exhibition took place from 1-3 December and welcomed 2,238 trade visitors and 75 exhibitors from 8 countries worldwide participated in the event occupying some 1,750 m2.
One of the success factors of the exhibition is the conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine”, which is organized by Fruit Inform within the framework of the exhibition. In 2015 the conference attracted a record high number of 280 delegates. The conference and exhibition attracted leading growers, traders, key supermarket buyers, importers, exporters, processors as well as input and equipment suppliers.
The Dutch Bank ABN Amro awarded Ukraine with the first place on the most promising Agricultural markets worldwide. Financiers from ABN AMRO noted that Ukraine is one of the most important agro- industrial regions in the world.
After a difficult period, the Ukrainian economy is recovering, for this year an economic growth of 2% is forecasted.
The fact that Ukraine has entered into the free trade agreement with the EU, as of January 1st 2016, means an additional boost to the Ukrainian economy.
The presence of the collective Holland Pavilion at the exhibition comes at a time of growing interest in participation and presence on the Ukrainian market.
Companies that participate within the Holland collective, organised by “AGF Promotie” are eligible to receive a mission voucher for which companies can apply at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). These vouchers are only available for the participants of the Holland collective and have a maximum value of EUR 1.500,- per voucher.
The exhibition is also supported by the office of the Agricultural Counsellor of the Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine.
