It is the new logistics platform inaugurated in January 2016 at Milan's Ortomercato and it works 24-7: AL.MA LOGISTICA was created by AL.MA, a leading company in the import and distribution of exotic fruit and counterseasonal products.
Alma Logistica is located near the main communication arteries and is therefore useful for the delivery and shipment of products. The platform can be found inside the fresh produce market.

Alma Logistica's co-owner Alberto Albuzza said that "when I used to be the president of the Fresh Produce Wholesaler Association, I urged the establishment of such a platform but nothing ever happened. Now I have decided to open one myself."
The structure is equipped with controlled-temperature unloading areas and independent cold-storage units and is perfect to manage the logistics cycle with the maximum efficiency.
"Times have changed - no one buys entire trucks of one single product any more. The platform provides a 24h loading, unloading and sorting service. In practice, we receive the goods and ship them to their destination."
"The fact that there are various storage units at different temperatures means we can store all goods at the ideal conditions."

- Formation of pallets.
