A new company, Unisorting Srl was founded on
February 15, to develop innovative technologies
for the fruit and vegetables sector. The company
is 100% controlled by Unitec SpA, and will be
utilising the experience gained from 3 companies
that have been operating in the sector for decades:
Longobardi Srl, Sado Srl and Sammo Srl.
The experience gained over the last few years by Longobardi Srl will be strengthened and increased to improve results in the fruit and vegetables quality selection.
The technologies that Unisorting will focus on range from the emptying to the packaging phase, including palletization and platform strapping, to the core phases of sizing and quality sorting.
“Unisorting's purpose is to bring together the know-how and the experience of 3 companies. This makes it possible for packhouses aiming at improving their working processes to rely on a valuable partner. The pursuit of this goal will start from increasing the professionalism and the experience of the company staff,” states Luca Benedetti, President of the newborn company.
