Tajin® seasonings & Borton Fruit

In store demos to promote WA apple harvest

The Washington State apple harvest has started and Borton Fruit is partnering on in-store demonstrations with Tajin® seasonings to help create excitement and interest in the new crop.

Tajin seasonings is a custom blend of world-class Mexican chilies, dehydrated lime juice and sea salt and is produced in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Lindsay Ehlis, Borton Fruit’s assistant director of sales & marketing, says "Tajin seasonings helps provide a great interactive demo experience for consumers. Fresh apples and Tajin seasonings are a great flavour combination and appeal to a broad ethnic demographic.”

“Tajin seasonings add a ‘zing’ to a wide variety of fruit and vegetables. We have been imported in the US for more 10 years and the popularity and acceptance of seasoning your fruits and veggies continues to grow," says US marketing manager Juan Carlos Limon.

Additionally, Borton Fruit offers bagged apples featuring Tajin sachets (packets) in either .14oz or .05 oz sizes.
