Tali Grapes comes with ‘later’ grape variety from Israel

Tali Grapes, an Israeli grower and exporters of grapes, will have late varieties starting in September. The name of this new variety is Scarlotta and will be available till the end of November. The company sees there is a market for it.

Currently they are in the beginning of the season of exporting their Midnight and Sable Seedless grapes to South Asian countries like Singapore and Sri Lanka. The company also has a couple of sweeter varieties on the domestic market. “We can’t export them, because we can’t assure the quality, as they are too sweet,” said Nir Dekter of Tali Grapes.

Part of the 25 varieties Tali Grapes' grows and markets were developed by Sun world, and varieties like Sable and Midnight are grown in both the Jordan Valley and Lakhish.
