Steven Martina (director Retail & Trade) and Bert Wilschut (product manager Top Fruit) of The Greenery attended a meeting of the Chinese company Goodfarmer.
Purpose of the meeting is to inform and enthuse Goodfarmer's clients about the Dutch Conference and Sweet Sensation pears, to further increase sales of Dutch pears. Over 120 of Goodfarmer's clients were present at the official "Pear Release" meeting. Some clients travelled over 3,000 km to be there!
The Greenery has been working with Goodfarmer since 2003, and their joint ambition is to have sales of Dutch pears increase significantly in the coming years. To do this, they're using each other's expertise when it comes to product, retail, consumer and logistics.
