Logistics centre Agropolis to be built in Russia

Company Agropolis Northwest has obtained permission to build an innovative logistics centre for agricultural production in Saint-Petersburg.

Construction works are to start in November 2014. The centre will occupy an area of 40,000 square metres and comprise a complex of buildings and warehouses for processing and distribution of agricultural production.
 
It should be added that the project is of strategic importance. Investment is estimated at 15.2 billion roubles (300 million Euro). The complex is expected to create about 10,000 job positions. Commission date is scheduled for July 2015.

It is to recall that the centre is designed for the wholesale trade of vegetables, fruit and fish. It is expected to become equivalent to the largest food market in Paris.
