General Director Gerjo Scheringa switches from ZON to CEO at Euro Pool System
"Gerjo Scheringa led our company through some difficult periods and he leaves the organisation strengthened, for which we are very grateful. Although it is unexpected, the most important changes have been implemented, which we have seen from the results. We, as ZON, are, after many hectic years, ready for a next step and are looking forward into a bright future," informs Ton Reijnders, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZON Holding. "The ZON Board of Directors regret he is leaving, but we respect his decision, based on a new endeavour and personal circumstances."
The new endeavor was announced today by Euro Pool System. Klaus Lutz, Board of Director Chairman for Euro Pool System: "Due to Gerjo's wide experience in the Fresh produce sector, his experience as a member of the Board of Directors for Euro Pool System and his proven service within the FMCG industry, we made the decision to name him CEO. We are happy that he wants to join our company and wish him and his team good luck in realizing further growth and development at Euro Pool System".
The Board of Directors from Euro Pool System would like to thank Folkert Mulder for his energetic and committed leadership at Euro Pool System over the past year.
