After around 2 months of storing, the organoleptic qualities of apples are still good.
Stocks on 1st January 2014 are equal to 1,216,832 tonnes, better than 2013 (1,087,029) but lower than 2012 (1,249,260 tonnes) and 2011 (1,256,986).

If we consider that they started to sell two weeks later than in 2012,we can say that the sale trend is in line with previous years. Sales were particularly lively during December 2013, as 162,025 tonnes were sold, 10.7% more than the same month in 2012. Golden Delicious and Gala were the most popular, selling 73,347 and 30,583 tonnes respectively.

Demand from the foreign markets is good, especially Germany, which requests Braeburn and Gala.

According to the data and dynamics available, we can say that the future trend is positive. Lower than the previous year, but still satisfactory, especially considering the economical situation.
