AU: Vegetable growers flood recovery going a little too well

Back in January this year, Australia's supply of fresh vegies was slowed down considerably when crops in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane were wiped out by floods.

Those vegetable growers are now back in business after a huge recovery effort. In fact they may have bounced back a little too well.

They are now harvesting such large quantities of cauliflower, broccoli and other vegies that prices have dropped.

Growers say the abundant supply of Winter vegies will continue for some time.
