Ukraine: Wild mushrooms sold to processing companies
It is expected that after the recent heavy rains wild mushrooms in large quantities will appear in Balta, Kodimsky and Kotovsky regions of Ukraine in the coming week.
“Now almost everybody comes back from the woods with trophies. There are many russulas in the forest, but the main objects of a "quiet hunt" are Lurid Boletus and certainly “white” mushrooms (a local name for a penny bun/porcino)”, - said a local resident Vladimir.
As expected, the mushroom harvesting season will last until the first autumn frosts, when honey agaric mushrooms will start to appear in abundance in the forest.
