"French cauliflower still on the market"

At the moment, French cauliflower is still available from importer W.Jonckheere in Brussels. "Normally the season is over earlier but this year sufficient Belgian cauliflower is still available. There are a lot less of these because prices are a lot higher," Cedric Geens comments. "The Belgian ones are more expensive. The production is late because of the long Winter we had.

A comparison: a box of Belgian costs 15 Euro while the French ones are half the price." (Should be on the same line)

"Obviously not too many Belgian ones are on the market. The French season is almost at an end, but the quality is still good. France had a very good cauliflower year. A
lot was sold - especially to Russia, Czech Republic and Poland. They also paid good prices. The weather was favourable and the production went well." W.Jonckheere receives the cauliflower from cooperative Prince de Bretagne.
