Spain's transport sector has not gone through the best of times in recent years, as around 8,600 firms went out of business in 2012 alone. They continue facing challenges and tackling difficulties such as high fuel costs or the fierce competition from Eastern European countries, as well as the well-known recession.
However, despite all the adversities, there are companies which not only manage to adapt to the situation, but also actually achieve a continuous growth. A firm falling into this category is Galadtrans, formed by professionals with a wealth of experience in the transport sector. Its representatives are in Almenara, Valencia and Seville.
"Our strategy to be able to expand and grow in the middle of this financial crisis is to try offering the best possible service, to be reliable to our clients and to always respond quickly and efficiently," he affirms. "For example, if the vehicle breaks down on the road anywhere in Europe, we guarantee that in a maximum of 6 hours another lorry will come, taking over the load, and will make the delivery in the best possible conditions. We are 99% effective, as so far we have never failed and no delivery has suffered any delays."
"We are specialised in fruit and vegetable exports and certified with the UNE-ENISO9001:2008 standard. Our daily services allow us to ship goods from any point in the Mediterranean towards the main European supplying markets thanks to our own fleet of 80 vehicles and the representation agreements we have with some large transport fleets, allowing us to control more than 700 vehicles," adds Javier Bayona.
Galadtrans also provides frozen goods transport from Spain to Europe, with either full loads or groupage.
According to Javier Bayona, human resources are a firm's best asset and must be managed accordingly. "Our leading position and capacity to attract the best professionals are key factors for a company's success. The performance of all our employees has a direct impact on our customer service; that is why at Galadtrans we are passionate about the work we do and we are willing to commit ourselves to a business project where everyone sets their own limits."
